The Gidley, found in Sydney’s CBD on the corner of King and Elizabeth, is an opulent steak house, where fine dining meets semi-respectable displays of gluttony.
As our guests step inside and make their way down dimly lit stairs to the Lounge Bar, an intimate haven of plush furnishings and quiet corners. As their table’s being prepared, guests can enjoy old-school charm with your favourite stiff drink before taking a seat in the lavish Dining Room. About The Role:
To thrive in our team, you’ll need consistency, confidence, and a hands-on approach. A positive attitude and attention to detail are essential as we work together to deliver an exceptional all-day dining experience.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Thrives in a fast-paced breakfast service
- Has experience (or interest) in French omelettes. Preferred, but not essential
- Brings great energy to an early start, shifts are typically 7am–12pm.
- Is after 20–25 hours per week, with room to grow

From the table, take in our famous Bistecca butcher’s block and open hearth, which fills the dining room with timeless warmth. The space then flows to a bottle-lined enoteca (wine room) available for private dining.
Bistecca is fast paced, though our guests should be met with a warm, timeless and nostalgic feeling, that is sincere and welcoming. We want them to feel comfortable, and still have a sense of the raw, rustic, and a little bit of cheek!

About The Venue:

A new dining and drinking concept like nothing on offer in Sydney, Lottie, is situated in a lush oasis adjacent to The EVE’s rooftop pool. From housemade tortillas made on the imported tortilla press and warmed on a comal (cast iron flat top) in full view of the dining room and paired with a selection of main dishes, to the classiest shaved ice margarita you’ve ever seen, Lottie is set to be something truly special. We are assembling a team of Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs & the all important kitchen porters, to work alongside Executive Chef Pip Pratt.
About The Roles:
You’ll be consistent and self-assured, working in a team where every role is hands-on, requiring strong attention to detail and a positive attitude. Experience in a busy and energetic kitchen, particularly with Mexican or South American cuisine, is preferred, as is holding a NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
